CR@Soul organized two national monastic assemblies in 2014 and 2015. Through these efforts, the Pyin Nyaw Daya (PYDY) Initiative was born. This monastic community is a network of 1,600 monastic schools. This community currently educates over 100,000 rural children regardless of race, background, or beliefs. We believe the PYDY network provides the platform for positive developments in Myanmar’s rapidly changing social, business, and political landscapes.
